At Lange Neurology, we focus on fostering trust and understanding to ensure that patients are fully informed. We prioritize open communication and actively involve our patients in their healthcare journey.

Lange Neurology, PC does not accept commercial insurance In-network plans. However, if your plan includes Out-of-network benefits, we will bill your insurance carrier after you have met your deductible. Self-paying patients can receive discounted fees for services. In cases of financial hardship, we will be happy to discuss payment plans.

We participate in Medicare.

We provide free service for patients involved in research studies. During those visits, we must confirm diagnoses and review treatment plans as part of our research. Those costs are covered by supportive sources. However, such visits do not replace long-term care.

To have the most meaningful visit at Lange Neurology, we ask that our patients provide in advance pertinent medical records, including but not limited to:

  • Reason for referral (if referred) by a physician
  • Prior neurological consultations
  • All laboratory studies
  • Genetic testing results
  • Imaging results and imaging
  • EMG/NCV studies; we need the actual report with waveforms (your neurologist will provide them)
  • Previous results from lumbar punctures

Enabling our patients to communicate easily with our office is our priority. We have invested in Klara Portal, a highly sophisticated 100% HIPPA compliant tool to facilitate communication with our patients. Klara makes text messaging as well as voice to text conversions instantly available to our staff. While we try to respond rapidly to messages, we ask that you allow up to 24 hours.

Our emails are not HIPPA-compliant so we prefer all communication to go through Klara. The Klara portal is not intended for addressing urgent issues. If you have an urgent concern please go to the emergency room of a hospital or to a walk-in care facility.

Our patients’ time is as valuable to us as it is to them. We schedule our patients in a timely manner and ensure there is little to no wait time. We also schedule in a way that allows our physicians to devote as much attention to each patient as needed.
